Putin threat hits miners stock

Jul 25 - An attack on the Russian company Mechel's pricing policy by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin erased almost a third of its value early on Friday (25 July).

Vladimir Putin publicly attacked Mechel, Russia's largest coke miner, accusing it of selling its raw materials domestically at double the price of its exports and threatened punitive action against the firm which is owned by Russia's joint 12th-richest man, Igor Zyuzin.
